Need to End Illegal Immigration Among Rising Violent Crime
BATON ROUGE, LA - Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry's
Fugitive Apprehension Unit recently teamed up with the Baton Rouge Police
Department and the Louisiana State Police Fugitive Unit to arrest four illegal
aliens now booked on armed robbery and home invasion charges in and around
Baton Rouge.
In making the apprehensions of Jorge Aldari-Mencia, 20,
Rommel Zair Banegas-Villela,18, Ever Alexander Robles-Cordova, 19 and Didier
Javier Guardado-Cardenas , 27 - the law enforcement agencies also confiscated
multiple guns and money.
“As I noted in this month's crime roundtable, violent crime is plaguing our Capital Region,”
said Attorney General Landry. “Making the community safer is not only going to
take partnerships across the local, state and, federal levels; but it is also
going to require enforcement of our immigration laws.”
“The lawlessness in our streets that have turned too
many families into crime victims and survivors must be met with a greater force
from all involved in the criminal justice system, including the Commander in
Chief,” added Attorney General Landry, who has waged numerous battles against
illegal immigration including those against Biden's deportation policies and sanctuary cities.
Following these arrests, HSI detainers were placed on
all four suspects.
“I am grateful for the law enforcement officers in our
state who are doing all they can to ensure public safety,” concluded Attorney
General Landry. “It is high time the folks in Washington support the efforts of
these brave men and women.”

Since Attorney General Landry took
the lead of the Louisiana Department of Justice and its Louisiana Bureau of
Investigation, his Fugitive Apprehension Unit has cleared more than 2,400
warrants.
