Subpoenas Issued for New Orleans Mayor, School Board President in Shot and Mask Mandate Lawsuit Joined by Attorney General Jeff Landry

AG Jeff Landry Looks Forward to End of Crescent City's Draconian Mask and Vaccine Dictates

NEW ORLEANS, LA - New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell and Orleans Parish School Board President Olin Parker have been subpoenaed to testify on Thursday in Andrews v. Cantrell, a legal challenge to the City’s shot and mask mandates by more than 100 plaintiffs and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry.

“I am hopeful this suit will finally bring an end to the City’s unlawful and draconian dictates upon all who rely upon services in New Orleans,” said Attorney General Landry. “I am proud to stand with the parents and guardians fighting to ensure the government does not interfere with their families’ healthcare decisions.”
