National Association of Attorneys General Elects Jeff Landry as President-Elect

National Association of Attorneys General Elevates Landry to #2 Post

BATON ROUGE, LA - Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry was elected this week to serve as the President-Elect of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG).

"Once again, I am humbled by my fellow Attorneys General electing me to serve in this leadership role," said General Landry. "NAAG has a great track record of AG's, across party lines, working together for the betterment of our country; and being chosen in this bi-partisan way to serve as President-Elect reflects that.

NAAG provides training, research, and analysis to Attorneys General and their staff on how to better serve their respective states. NAAG also assists in relation building and communication between states, which has proven to be helpful when it comes to filing briefs and getting information out to the public.

"I am grateful for the assistance NAAG has provided to me and my staff," added General Landry. "I look forward to helping NAAG carry out its mission and continuing to work with other Attorneys General across our country in an effort to strengthen states' rights, support economic liberty, and make our communities safer."

Attorney General Landry is expected to take over as President of NAAG in 2018.
