BATON ROUGE, LA - Attorney General Jeff Landry released the following statement regarding President Trump's proposed budget for fiscal year 2019: 

"I applaud the Trump Administration for proposing a budget that prioritizes border security, assists law enforcement in the fight against the opioid epidemic, and returns offshore revenue to the coastal states that produce the needed energy for our country. I hope Congress follows Director Mulvaney's lead and appropriates accordingly."
