BATON ROUGE, LA –
Attorney General Jeff Landry today announced that his Cyber Crime Unit (CCU)
arrested a Pearl River man on multiple charges of child pornography.
“My team and I are committed to
doing all we legally can to investigate and arrest child predators,” said
General Landry. “We will do our part to ensure those who victimize our State’s
children are found and brought to justice.”
Kevin Currier, 33 of Pearl River, was arrested on 25 counts
of Possession of Sexual Abuse Images/Videos of Children (under the age of 13)
and one count of Distribution of Sexual Abuse Images/Videos of Children (under
the age of 13). He was arrested following a joint investigation led by General
Landry’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation
(LBI) CCU and assisted by the LBI Violent Crimes Unit, Homeland Security
Investigations, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, and the Slidell Police
Department.
General Landry encourages anyone with additional
