General Landry: My office and I work hard to provide useful consumer resources and outreach opportunities to Louisiana residents and businesses in an effort to empower citizens and combat fraud.

General Landry: The victimization of our State’s youth will not be tolerated by my office; and we will continue working with our law enforcement partners to put an end to it.

General Landry: Pat Magee has vast experience ensuring the law is faithfully executed – protecting our civil liberties while keeping our communities safe. I trust Pat will use this knowledge and his passion to serve Louisiana in a manner that honors our office’s commitment to upholding the rule of law, defending the Constitution, and protecting our State’s people.

General Landry: It is unfortunate that this incident is still affecting Louisiana consumers and devastating families and businesses. My office has been and will continue working diligently to help the people of Louisiana who may have had their information compromised as a result of this breach.

General Landry: Our Cyber Crimes Unit works tirelessly to investigate and arrest criminals engaging in child exploitation. We will not cease in our efforts to apprehend those producing, possessing, or distributing pictures and videos of children being violated.

General Landry: Today is another step in ensuring the unconstitutional actions made by the past Administration are not forced onto the American people.

General Landry: The Constitution makes it very clear: students do not have to surrender their First Amendment rights at the school house door.

General Landry: My office and I will continue to investigate companies that engage in unsafe and deceptive trade practices and do all we legally can to make our communities safer.

General Landry: It is unimaginable that people would violate children’s innocence by spreading child pornography. Every time an image or video is shared, the child is re-victimized; so our office is working tirelessly with our law enforcement partners to find and expose child predators.

General Landry: We once again encourage anyone who may know of people using the Medicaid program to illegally take money, services, or drugs to report it to our office.

General Landry: I thank the Governor for putting his faith in our office’s leadership on this issue. We will work hard to hold drug companies accountable for contributing to the opioid abuse, misuse, and addiction that have destroyed so many Louisiana families.

General Landry: My office and I remain committed to finding and apprehending those accused of Internet crimes against children.

General Landry: My office and I are extremely thankful for Brandon’s service to our State, and we look forward to maintaining strong federal partnerships with Brandon leading the Middle District.

General Landry: If you know of people using the Medicaid program to take money, services, or drugs to which they are not entitled – please report it to our office.

General Landry: I applaud the Trump Administration for proposing a budget that prioritizes border security, assists law enforcement in the fight against the opioid epidemic, and returns offshore revenue to the coastal states that produce the needed energy for our country.

General Landry: The decline of Louisiana's coastline over the past 50 years had been a constant issue for Louisiana. Unfortunately, the creation of the Intracostal Waterway by the Corps has exasperated the problem.

General Landry: Mardi Gras parades, parties, and balls are in full swing, but it is always important to remember to be safe and use good judgment while passing a good time.

General Landry: It is important for students to test their skills and ensure they understand the topics discussed in order to prepare themselves for life after high school.

General Landry: We will continue our efforts in doing all we legally can to bring those who expose and exploit our State's children to justice.

General Landry: Whether it is those who acquire unneeded prescription drugs, falsely bill, or lie to gain eligibility; all Medicaid welfare fraud is wrong; and my office will do all we legally can to stop it.
