General Landry: We will neither slow down nor stop in our pursuit of those who exploit Louisiana’s children.

General Landry: For the sake of protecting both public safety and jobs, I hope Administrator Pruitt will honor our request.

General Landry: My office will continue to use every resource we have to aggressively fight public corruption.

General Landry: Public officials, elected or appointed, should conduct themselves in a fair, lawful, and honorable way. When that does not happen, it has a negative effect on our citizens and our communities and undermines the public’s trust in our government.

General Landry: We challenge citizens to use this annual awareness week as a time to work together and share information to help others protect their privacy, manage their finances, and avoid scams.

General Landry: I am thankful for the opportunities I had to meet with President Trump and Attorney General Sessions again to discuss topics affecting Louisiana.

General Landry is in the Nation's Capital attending the National Association of Attorneys General Winter Meeting. While there, he will meet with President Trump and newly confirmed U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

General Landry: It is important to remember to be safe and use good judgment while catching beads, eating king cake, and spending time with friends.

General Landry: I appreciate all of our partner agencies who helped crack this case, and I am grateful for their dedication to public safety.

General Landry: It is important that law enforcement partners continue to work in coordination with each other to capture criminals in an effort to keep our communities safe.

General Landry: Despite potential budget cuts that threaten our efforts to meet the challenges associated with the Governor’s Medicaid expansion, we will continue to work hard for the people of Louisiana.

General Landry: Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of Louisiana's children is our top priority.

General Landry: I applaud the U.S. House for passing this resolution, giving power back to the states and taking another step toward defunding Planned Parenthood.

General Landry: I am proud of the hard work being done by my team and our law enforcement partners to uncover, investigate, and arrest those who defraud the taxpayers.

General Landry: Operation Resolution’s success is a great example of what can be done when law enforcement agencies, from every level, work in collaboration.

General Landry: Despite threats of further budget cuts, our Cyber Crime Unit remains steadfastly committed to taking child predators off the streets.

General Landry: As many of the hard-working men and women of our State find themselves rebuilding from this natural disaster, our LADOJ wants to ensure they are not taken advantage of in any way.

General Landry: Fraudsters often create fake profiles to form online relationships, and eventually convince people to send money in the name of love.

General Landry: Our office will continue to pursue anyone who may have defrauded the government following last year’s floods and this week’s tornadoes.

The LADOJ helps fund many of its own operations, relieving a burden on the Louisiana taxpayers. In FY17, 26% of the entire LADOJ legally approved budget relies upon funds self-generated, like those in escrow, to operate the functions of the office.
